Carol Martin

Carol Martin is a native of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, who moved with her Lexingtonian husband, Rodney, and their son, Taylor, 28 years ago.   She has worked in the criminal justice/law enforcement arena for almost 30 years.  For the past 20 years, she has been employed by the United States Probation Office as a U.S. Probation Officer. In conjunction with supervising offenders released to the Eastern District of Kentucky, she serves as the district’s Drug Treatment Specialist and also travels to monitor/audit U.S. Probation Offices throughout the U.S.  In 2015, Carol and Rodney purchased a 200 year old home near Gratz Park. Since moving downtown, Carol has become active in the efforts of the Bluegrass Trust by volunteering at the BGT Antique and Garden Show and serving on the AGS Planning Committee.  In addition to her interest in historical properties, renovations, and antiques, Carol enjoys travel, (particularly if there is a beach involved) golf, entertaining, and spending time with her family, friends, and their sweet dog, Ramsey.
