Hannah Simms

Hannah Simms is Director of Sports Wagering for the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation, where she oversees regulatory efforts to support a fair, transparent, and responsible sports wagering environment in the Commonwealth. Before stepping into this role, she served at the University of Kentucky as Executive Director of UK Health Corps, helping lead public health initiatives during the pandemic, and later as Associate Dean of Students, where she oversaw student conduct, risk management, and compliance processes. She also has experience in government affairs, legal research, and marketing. Hannah serves on the Golden Matrix Advisory Board at the University of Kentucky and lives in Lexington’s historic Ashland Park neighborhood. She holds a Juris Doctor and bachelor’s degrees in political science and international studies from the University of Kentucky.
