The Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation invites you to our 2025 Hopemont Lecture Preservation Workshop featuring Dr. Melynda Price.
Designed for preservation and public history professionals, students, and grassroots leaders, this half-day, interactive workshop will give you and your team a hands-on opportunity to engage with national and local preservationists enacting exciting change and innovation.

9:15am-10:15am- Dr. Melynda Price, Co-Director of the Monuments Workshop and Director of the Institute for Research on Women and Gender at the University of Michigan
Dr. Price will be answering your preservation questions on saving and sharing stories and places, in conversation with Blue Grass Trust President Dr. Richard Schein
10:30am-11:30am-Preservation at Work: A roundtable discussion moderated by Dr. Jonathan Coleman
Join local leaders engaged in public commemorations and remembrances of Kentucky's history, and explore how communities can expand and build relevancy and excitement around the stories we tell of our collective past.
