We are honored to announce Patrick Snadon will be the featured speaker at the BGT & UK College of Design's Pope Villa seminar on Thursday, November 9 @ 5:30 pm. Held at the Dr. Thomas H. Morgan House, 210 N. Broadway, in the H. Foster Pettit Auditorium, the Pope Villa seminars are free and open to the public, with free on-site parking, and are co-sponsored by the BGT and UK's College of Design. Doors open @ 5 pm.
Snadon is the co-author of the award-winning book The Domestic Architecture of Benjamin Henry Latrobe; his lecture will be "Making a Case for Saving the Pope Villa Thirty Years Ago." The series of presentations and discussions consider the socio-cultural and intellectual contexts from within which Benjamin Henry Latrobe’s innovative design for the Lexington building emerged, with emphasis on information that will inform decisions about its restoration and/or rehabilitation.
Special thanks to our friends at the historic Gratz Park Inn for their support of this seminar.
