The 2019 Antiques & Garden Show may be the Blue Grass Trust’s best show yet, with a stellar line-up of VIPs, speakers and special guests, including from Jon Carloftis and Ray Booth, Beverly and Bill Fortune, Betsy Bulleit and Penny Peavler, Isabel Ladd and Kimberly Clay Hites, Ashley Pemberton Herndon and Janna Pemberton Schmidt, David Bazner, a host of great Designer Vignettes, and an astounding array of quality exhibitors. Renowned for its beauty and southern hospitality, the BGT’s Antiques & Garden Show, held each March, has become a major regional attraction, thanks to its combination of stellar line-up of special events and speakers, its array of quality exhibitors and designer vignettes, and its’ convenient location in the heart of horse and bourbon country!
Interior Designer Ray Booth will share his vision of “Evocative Interiors” as the Keynote Speaker on Friday, March 1, at the BGT’s 2019 Antiques & Garden Show at the Kentucky Horse Park’s Alltech Arena March 1, 2, and 3. Bill and Beverly Fortune, our 2019 Honorary Co-chairs for 2019 will help kick-off the show with a Gala Preview Party on Thursday evening, February 28 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Always a fun, fabulous, and well-attended cocktail party, guest will enjoy a delicious array of food by Catering by Donna, an open bar, complimentary valet parking, and first-look shopping opportunities with more than eighty quality exhibitors. Reservations are required for the Gala ($150 p/p; $250/couple) and the Keynote Speaker’s Lunch ($75 p/p). Show dates are March 1, 2, 3, Friday and Saturday hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sunday hours are 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Jon Carloftis Fine Gardens will again host the wildly popular “Cocktails & Quickfire Seminars” featuring design, spirits, and party experts, on Friday and Saturday afternoons, along with signature cocktails with Bulleit Bourbon and Maker’s Mark,. Reservations are $40 per person and per day and are $100 Friday’s Keynote Lecture and Cocktails and Quickfire combination reservation. We are so excited to be working with our friends at The Frazier Museum in Louisville on the 2019 Kentucky Treasures exhibit. We are delighted to have many returning exhibitors, as well as several new dealers of fine antiques, gorgeous garden and florals, designer vignettes, stunning jewelry, collectibles and vintage silver, fine art, maps and vintage art posters, imported rugs, complimentary daily lectures, and ala carte café and bar. There is truly something for everyone at the 2019 Antiques & Garden Show. Other highlights include the BGT’s Silent Auction, and a raffle for a one thousand dollar shopping spree at the show.
