Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3: The Blue Grass Trust welcomed the Pope Villa National Advisory Board to Lexington. The group met on Friday night and Saturday morning before the Pope Villa Hard Hat fundraiser. A special thank you to Bullard for providing the hard hats! Friday, October 2: The Blue Grass Trust hosted its first "Fix It and Mix It" workshop. Chris Annis of Annis and Dreyer Construction presented a lecture on historic window repair. Click on the images to enlarge!

Tuesday, July 31: The Blue Grass Trust participated in Ashland's Family Festival. Over 200 children made their own historic floorcloths.

Saturday, July 28: The Hunt-Morgan House's Alexander T. Hunt Civil War Museum officially reopened with a special portrait unveiling. Thank you to all who attended and made the evening so memorable!

Friday, June 22: The Hunt-Morgan House is accepted in the American Association of Museums' Museuam Assessment Program. This two year program will help the Blue Grass Trust evaluate and improve the Hunt-Morgan House experience.

Thursday, June 21: Long Road Back to Kentucky premiered at the Hunt-Morgan House. Proceeds benefit the Hunt-Morgan House restoration efforts. Visit http://www.talkinghistoryusa.com/ for more information about this exciting new documentary!

Saturday, May 12: The winners of the Blue Grass Trust Visual Arts Contest were announced.

Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13: The Blue Grass Trust participated in Mayfest.

Friday, May 11: Tom McDowell presented a workshop on tuckpointing with lime putty mortar.

Saturday, February 24: Dr. James Ramage lectured and visited the Hunt-Morgan House. Over 60 guests came to hear his lecture on John Hunt Morgan's equestrian monument.

Friday, December 8 & Saturday, December 9: The Hunt-Morgan House and The Mary Todd Lincoln House hosted Candelight Tours sponsored by Farmers Bank. General John Hunt Morgan even made an appearance!

Thursday, December 7: Thank you to our members who attended the Blue Grass Trust Members' Holiday Party! We hope you enjoyed yourselves!

Thursday, November 2: Thank you to Brad Leasor and Dirty Bird Services for donating a dump truck for our clean up! A special thank you to Jeff Donnelly and his Sayre School advisees for cleaning the Hunt-Morgan House attic, carriage house, and museum office!
